Approval of veterinary health certificates for livestock import issued by the Somali federal government

Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter from the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (44103582) and the date (24/8/1444 AH), in which reference is made to the letter of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (554281/1/1440) and the date (20/8/1444 AH), It includes the kind directive approving what the Standing Committee of the Council of Political and Security Affairs considered regarding the ministry’s opinion that it is not appropriate to adopt the veterinary health certificate for the import of live livestock from the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries in the Somaliland region.​

Whereas, the Ministry wishes to clarify that the veterinary health certificate approved by this Ministry for the import of live livestock from the Somaliland region is the certificate issued by the Somali federal government, according to the veterinary health protocol approved with the state, and the ministry wishes to inform importers of live livestock from Somalia of its content.​​
